Derek Koch is Co-Founder of The Seeker, a platform that aims to transform the job search process and redefine how job vacancies are filled. Derek is an entrepreneur and product executive who has led high-growth companies through major product overhauls and redesigns, periods of rapid team growth, compliance initiatives, and PLG initiatives.
He served as Chief Product Officer & Chief Compliance Officer at PointCare (a healthcare revenue cycle SaaS), VP of Product & Services at Visibillity (a property & casualty insurance SaaS solution acquired by Bottomline Technologies), and founded Independent Software (early stage venture and talent acceleration) and served as its CEO. Derek started his career working as a Consultant and Project Manager at Watson Wyatt's (now Willis Towers Watson) HR & technology practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and a master’s degree from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

With expertise in product, marketing, content creation, and customer experience. His entrepreneurial journey is characterized by resilience, strategic vision, and the ability to navigate complex challenges. He earned his B.A. from Fairfield University.
